You get the retention and versatility of kydex but the beauty and customization of leather. This is a scout carry sheath which means it sits paralell to your belt. It can also be made in a standard vertical position. Because of its unique sheath it can be attached upside down to any gear or pack strap etc...without fear of it falling out.
